The video is in French, but there are English sub-titles. Please watch.

The crocodile represents her anxiety. It follows her around, stops her from doing a big presentation and discourages her from answering the phone. Her being nice to it represents her coming to terms with it; realizing that it will still be there, but reassuring it that everything will be fine if she takes a chance (“don’t worry”).

My response the last time I watched it:

Damn! Why am I crying??? Oh yeah, because I’ve literally been in that exact situation yelling and crying for my shyness/anxiety to JUST STOP and GO AWAY. But the truth is, I’ve come to realize that it’s a part of me. So, from now on, I’m referring to my shyness/anxiety as my crocodile. I’m going to make friends with it because it’s probably never going to go away.

I like the style of this.
